Andrew and Nicole
Andrew and Nicole are the heart and soul behind a number of our cabins. Originally from Australia, they moved to Smithers over 11 years ago with the dream of raising their family close to nature. What was meant to be a chapter turned into a lifelong love story with Hudson Bay Mountain and the surrounding community. They’ve embraced everything this mountain town has to offer - from skiing and biking, to Local events and small-town life. Together with their kids, they’ve become deeply rooted in the community, and they take pride in sharing the beauty of this place with guests from near and far. For them, it's not about business - it's about welcoming people into a place they call home.
Lee
Lee, also originally from Australia, made his way to Smithers 16 years ago - drawn by the snow, and stayed for the soul of the place. With a career spanning Heli ski guiding and instructing for some of the most prestigious families and resorts across Europe and the world, Lee knows world-class mountains - and he’ll tell you Smithers has some of the best snow on earth. Over time, this little town became more than a stop along the way; it became home. Now, Lee is proud to share the magic of the mountain through these cabins, creating authentic stays for guests who want more than just a place to sleep - they want to feel part of something.
